God’s Work Our Hands
October 22, Sunday School will be collecting spare change during their offering time during music. If you have spare change to donate, please feel free to leave in the wicker basket on Sunday October 22, at the foot of the Sunday School stairwell.

Special Guest Speaker Professor Jonathan Clark from the Concordia College German Department will be here Sunday, October 22.

Sunday, October 8: Pontoppidan Youth in grades 7-12 are invited to Atomic Coffee on Broadway for a $5 treat and time of fellowship immediately following the 10 AM church service. See you there!!

Sunday, October 8: Pontoppidan youth in grades 7-12 are invited to THUNDER ROAD amusement park from 2-4 PM! Please bring a friend! The cost is $10 per person. (The weather forecast predicts cool temps for the day but If it’s raining at 1 PM the event will be canceled.) See you there for some fun and games and don’t forget to invite a friend!

Many of you may have used Martin Luther’s Small Catechism for Confirmation. If you have saved a Catechism book, please bring to the meeting to share with one another.

We extend our sympathy to Vern & Liz Brancroft. Their son, Vernon Jr., passed away on September 8. A funeral service was held September 11 in East Grand Forks.

Habitat for Humanity is looking for crew leaders to help make their builds a success. Crew leaders are skilled builders (professional, retired or DIY) who work with groups of 3-5 volunteers to teach and help them complete various tasks on a home build. Depending on your schedule and desires, you could help 1-2 days per build, all 25 days we have volunteers or anywhere in-between. If interested, call 218-284-5253.
